Katrina Serwe, PhD, poemwalked Wisconsin’s Ice Age National Scenic Trail and has written two poetry books. First Steps (Brain Mill Press, 2025) won the Brain Mill Press + Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets Chapbook Contest. A Thousand Miles of Poetry: Poemwalking Wisconsin’s Ice Age National Scenic Trail will be released April 2026 with WWA Press. Her poems have been featured in a variety of publications including Ploughshares, Blue Heron Review, The Solitary Plover, Bramble, Portage Magazine, and Scrawl Place.
